I have been producing and coordinating live virtual events since 2021. Over the years, this has meant hundreds of events, international interpreting teams, complex multilingual workflows — and plenty of situations where the standard setup simply was not enough.

When the standard workflow isn’t enough
Interpretation audio failure
LIVE HYBRID EVENT
An interpreter suddenly could not hear the programme audio. I traced the issue to an account conflict within the interpretation workflow, moved the second device to a separate account and restored the audio routing.
When one Zoom wasn’t enough
CUSTOM WORKFLOW
I designed workflows connecting separate Zoom environments when the standard interpretation functionality could not support the required setup.
Multilingual recording outside Zoom
OBS WORKFLOW
I have used OBS-based workflows to record multiple language channels independently when Zoom’s standard recording options were not sufficient.
