How I Use AI

I use artificial intelligence as a practical tool to support some of my creative, language, technical and organisational work. It helps me, for example, with research, finding and verifying terminology, creating glossaries, language checks, drafting and refining texts, content creation and visual materials.

AI in Translation

In my translation work, I also use machine translation tools such as DeepL, primarily for selected parts of texts that do not contain personal data. I use generative AI mainly as a language and terminology assistant – for example, to create specialised glossaries or analyse specific questions of grammar and style.

AI does not replace my professional judgement or my responsibility for the final translation. I personally review every translation before delivery, including a output check in its final form.

AI in Content Creation

AI also assists me with brainstorming, drafting and refining texts, research, content creation and visual materials. I select, edit and approve the final content myself.

Realistic content created with generative AI that could be mistaken for a genuine photograph or other authentic record is labelled:

Protecting Client Data

When working with AI, I take care to protect confidential information and my clients’ personal data. I do not use generative AI as a substitute for the secure handling of client documentation. When using AI for professional or language support, I work only with the information necessary for the specific task.

Human Judgement Comes First

AI is not a substitute for human expertise, experience or responsibility. It is a tool that can help me work more efficiently, explore different possibilities and look at a problem from different perspectives. I remain responsible for my professional work and for the content I publish.
